Smith was diagnosed with a high-ankle sprain Friday and is out for the season, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Smith sustained the injury during Thursday's loss to the Ravens, which was his first action of the season. The 22-year-old spent most of the season on the team's practice squad before being promoted to the active roster earlier this week.
Thomas (hamstring) is inactive for Thursday's game against the Ravens.
With Thomas out, added snaps are available for Vyncint Smith, though he'd be a speculative fantasy play in Week 15. Robby Anderson and Jamison Crowder currently profile as the safest lineup options among the Jets' pass catchers.
Ingram rushed 13 times for 76 yards and a touchdown and brought in one of two targets for a 10-yard score in the Ravens' 42-21 win over the Jets on Thursday. He also logged a two-point conversion rush.
Ingram found himself in the end zone frequently Thursday, with his six-yard rush midway through the first quarter opening the scoring on the night for both teams. The veteran also notched Baltimore's final score of the night on a 10-yard reception on the fourth quarter, his fourth touchdown of the season (all within the last five games). Ingram's rushing yardage tally Thursday against the Jets' typically stonewalling run defense was actually his best of any non-100-yard performance this season, and he'll look to build on that effort versus the Browns in a Week 16 divisional matchup a week from Sunday.
Powell (ankle/illness) is ruled out for Thursday's contest against the Ravens, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Powell missed a trio of practices this week, so his lack of availability for Thursday's tilt against the Ravens doesn't come as much of a surprise. With Ty Montgomery (foot/hip) listed as questionable, Josh Adams could step into the No. 2 role in New York's backfield behind Le'Veon Bell in Week 15.
Tucker made four of five extra-point attempts during Thursday's 42-21 win over the Jets.
Tucker didn't attempt a field goal during Thursday's blowout, as Baltimore's hyper-efficient offense rolled to six touchdowns and didn't let up on the gas. The standout kicker will travel to Cleveland in Week 16.
Bell (illness) rushed 21 times for 87 yards in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens and brought in both his targets for one yard in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Bell enjoyed a solid return from a one-game absence due to illness against a typically stingy Ravens defense, notching a season high in rushing yards while tying his high-water mark in carries in 2019. The versatile back has endured a significantly underwhelming season overall, but he'll look to continue putting a strong cap on the campaign in a Week 16 matchup versus the Steelers a week from Sunday.
Griffin (ankle) has been placed on IR by the Jets.
The Jets have elected to shut Griffin down with just three games left in the regular season. In his absence, Daniel Brown and Trevon Wesco are next up for the team's tight end looks, though neither player is a high-percentage lineup roll in the fantasy playoffs.
Roberts secured all three of his targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 42-21 win over the Jets on Thursday.
Roberts' receiving yards were tops on the Ravens for the night, while his 33-yard touchdown reception late in the third quarter was the fifth-year veteran's second of the season. Roberts has been a bit player in the offense overall with just 19 receptions, but he has the experience and route-running prowess to make an impact when his number is called. Roberts will look to build on his performance versus the Jets in a Week 16 divisional matchup against the Browns a week from Sunday.
Snead caught his lone target for 15 yards Thursday against the Jets.
Snead's volume dropped off Thursday after having seen multiple targets in six straight games. That said, Snead hasn't had more than 20 yards in any game since Week 5. With a small target share and a low average depth of target (9.1), Snead doesn't have much in the way of peripheral numbers to project a major turnaround down the stretch.
Montgomery recorded two carries for five yards and hauled in his only target for five yards during Thursday's 42-21 loss to the Ravens.
Montgomery also returned four kickoffs for 93 yards, with a long of 34 yards. If Bilal Powell (ankle/illness) is forced to miss any more time, Montgomery will continue to serve as the top backup to Le'Veon Bell.
Boyle caught two of three targets for 10 yards and a touchdown Sunday against the Bills.
The fifth-year tight end caught the second touchdown of his career Sunday and has already surpassed his previous career-high for receiving yards in a season with 291. Boyle is fourth on the team in target share at 10.5 percent but with Hayden Hurst coming on strong of late, there could be increased competition for targets down the stretch.
Brown caught one of two targets for four yards during Thursday's 42-21 loss to the Ravens.
Brown played 29 snaps (49 percent) on offense with Ryan Griffin (ankle) out for the season. The James Madison product stands to continue splitting tight end reps with Trevon Wesco going forward, but due to his lack of upside as a pass catcher he doesn't warrant fantasy consideration in most formats.
Crowder secured six of 11 targets for 90 yards and two touchdowns in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Crowder paced the Jets in receptions, receiving yardage and touchdown catches, putting together a very timely fantasy-friendly performance after a disappointing three-game stretch during which he logged just seven receptions for 55 yards and no touchdowns. Crowder will look to continue his resurgence against the Steelers' tough secondary in a Week 16 matchup, a week from Sunday.
Anderson secured four of six targets for 66 yards and caught a two-point conversion pass in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Anderson was second only to Jamison Crowder in receptions and receiving yardage for the Jets on the night. Even though he failed to notch a touchdown grab for only the second time in the last five games, Anderson did find the end zone on a two-point conversion catch following a fourth-quarter Crowder scoring reception. Anderson will look to boost his numbers back up across the board in a Week 16 battle against the Steelers a week from Sunday.
Ficken missed his only field-goal try and made one of two extra-point attempts in Thursday's 42-21 loss to the Ravens.
Ficken missed his sole field-goal attempt from 49 yards out, and he didn't manage any opportunities after that point with the game out of hand. Through 12 contests, the 26-year-old has made 14 of 19 field-goal tries and 20 of 22 extra-point attempts. He's got a tough matchup against the Steelers on deck Week 16.
Jackson (quadriceps) completed 15 of 23 passes for 212 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions in the Ravens' 42-21 win over the Jets on Thursday. He also rushed eight times for 86 yards -- breaking Michael Vick's single-season rushing record for a quarterback in the process -- and committed a fumble but recovered.
Jackson couldn't have drawn up a better script for his milestone night, as he also tied his career high with his five touchdown tosses in addition to surpassing Vick for the rushing mark. Just as impressive was the fact all five of Jackson's scoring throws went to different pass catchers -- Miles Boykin (five yards), Mark Andrews (one yard), Marquise Brown (24 yards), Seth Roberts (33 yards) and Mark Ingram (10 yards). Jackson has now thrown five touchdown passes on three separate occasions in what has been a stellar sophomore campaign, while his rushing tally Thursday pushed his season total to an eye-popping 1,103 yards on the ground. Jackson lines up for another start a week from Sunday in a Week 16 divisional matchup versus the Browns, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported earlier Thursday that Robert Griffin III, who saw action late against the Jets, is expected to start Week 17 against the Steelers if Baltimore has locked up its playoff seeding by that point.
Hurst had one catch for 19 yards on two targets Thursday against the Jets.
This was a bit of a letdown from Hurst after his breakout against the Bills in Week 14. In fairness, Baltimore only attempted 23 passes and only three other players had more targets than Hurst. Still, Thursday served as a reminder that Hurst's big game against the Bills was more of an anomaly than a sign of things to come because Mark Andrews is the top target of the tight end group when healthy.
Darnold completed 18 of 32 passes for 218 yards with two touchdowns and one interception in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday. He also rushed once for 11 yards and lost a fumble.
Darnold put together a serviceable fantasy night while playing under less-than-ideal circumstances against an aggressive Ravens defense. The second-year quarterback's two turnovers certainly didn't help the Jets' cause in a game in which they already faced long odds, but from a fantasy perspective, Darnold's fourth multi-touchdown effort over the last five games certainly had to please managers who rostered him in their playoff contests. Darnold will look to continue putting together a strong finish to his sophomore campaign in a Week 16 battle against the Steelers a week from Sunday.
Andrews (knee) secured four of seven targets for 52 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 42-21 win over the Jets on Thursday.
Andrews tied Marquise Brown for the team lead in receptions while checking in second to Seth Roberts in receiving yardage. The second-year tight end narrowly missed a truly explosive night when he and Lamar Jackson just failed to connect on a deep pass down the middle early in the fourth quarter, but it was still a fruitful fantasy night following his early exit from a Week 14 win over the Bills due to a knee injury. Andrews will look to put together an even stronger effort against the Browns in Week 16, a week from Sunday.
Smith secured three of five targets for 40 yards and returned three kickoffs for 86 yards in the Jets' 42-21 loss to the Ravens on Thursday.
Smith did a solid job as the No. 3 receiver with Demaryius Thomas (hamstring) out of action, as the speedy wideout generated his second multi-catch tally of the last three games. Smith also was impressive on kickoff returns and could continue enjoying an expanded role in the offense over the final two games with the Jets in evaluation mode for next season. Smith's penultimate opportunity to make an impression in 2019 will come in a Week 16 matchup against the Steelers, a week from Sunday.
Adams did not log a single snap during Thursday's 42-21 loss to the Ravens.
Adams has now logged three consecutive games without taking a snap on offense or special teams. The second-year pro appears to be buried in New York's depth chart behind Le'Veon Bell, Ty Montgomery and Bilal Powell (ankle/illness), and he won't warrant fantasy consideration until further notice.
Edwards had five carries for 35 yards Thursday against the Jets.
Baltimore turned to Edwards to close things out Thursday, giving him three carries for 29 yards in the second half. Edwards has been effective when given opportunities, averaging 5.2 YPC, but the workload has been inconsistent. He's only seen double-digit carries twice all season and both of those instances came during blowouts. Edwards is also not involved in the passing game with just five targets on the year, which lowers his weekly floor. He and the Ravens will travel to Cleveland to take on the Browns in Week 16.
Hill had three carries for eight yards Sunday against the Bills.
Once again the rookie was on the field for a limited time as he recorded single-digit snaps for the second week in a row and third time in four games. He has too many obstacles to seeing a consistent role in the offense with Mark Ingram and Lamar Jackson eating up nearly 70 percent of the rushing share while Gus Edwards also sees a healthy amount of carries. Hill and the Ravens will face the Jets on Thursday.
Wesco played 29 snaps on offense (49 percent) but was not targeted during Thursday's 42-21 loss to the Ravens.
Wesco also played 7 snaps on special teams (28 percent). The rookie fourth-round pick split reps at tight end evenly with Daniel Brown, but he didn't handle either of Sam Darnold's two targets to the position. Wesco has only been targeted once this season, Week 10 against the Giants, when he recorded one catch for 15 yards.
Berrios wasn't targeted in Thursday's 42-21 loss to Baltimore, but he returned three punts for 48 yards.
Berrios was on the field for only five of New York's 59 snaps on offense. His inability to see the field consistently with such an underwhelming receiving corps around him suggests Berrios is liekly to end up a career special teams player.
Boykin caught his lone target for a five-yard touchdown in Thursday's win over the Jets.
After not being targeted for two straight weeks, Boykin got back in the action Thursday with his first touchdown since Week 4 against the Browns. Boykin is still having a difficult time getting consistent target volume, though, so the touchdown Thursday doesn't necessarily portend a role increase in the coming weeks. Seth Roberts, who also caught a touchdown Thursday, seems to have the inside track for snaps ahead of Boykin on the left side of the Ravens offense. Boykin and the Ravens will travel to Cleveland in Week 16.
Brown secured all four of his targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in the Ravens' 42-21 win over the Jets on Thursday.
Brown tied Mark Andrews for the team high in receptions and notched his first touchdown catch since Week 12 when he notched a 24-yard scoring grab midway through the third quarter. The rookie hasn't been over the 100-yard mark since Week 1, but his game-breaking speed gives him plenty of upside any time he's on the field. Brown will look to boost his numbers in a Week 16 divisional matchup against the Browns.
