Lucas Herbert Lucas Herbert
RANK 377 | OWGR 0.44
Herbert carded a 10-under 61 in the final round at LIV Golf Mexcio City to finish tied with Bryson DeChambeau for second.
Herbert was three-under through the first two rounds of the tournament, but the 29-year-old Australian was outstanding on Championship Sunday. He went four-under through the back nine before going five-under from holes 10 through 13 and finished things off with a birdie on the par-5 16th. It was Herbert's best outing at a LIV Golf tournament this season and his third top-5 finish, and his efforts kept Ripper GC in contention for the team trophy. He'll look to carry his momentum into next weekend at LIV Golf Korea.
Herbert carded a three-over 74 in the final round at LIV Golf Singapore to finish tied for 14th.
Herbert surged into contention in Singapore with a bogey-free, five-under 66 second round to enter Sunday three strokes back of Dustin Johnson and Joaquin Niemann for the clubhouse lead. Herbert stayed near the top of the leaderboard after going one-under through the front nine, but his final round quickly fell apart when he carded five bogeys from holes 11 to 17 before ending with a birdie on the par-4 18th. It was a disappointing finish for Herbert, but the Australian has finished in the top-15 in three of four LIV Golf tournaments this season and sits 10th in the individual standings with 38.40 points. Next up is LIV Golf Miami, and Herbert will be looking for redemption at Trump National Doral after finishing T51 in 2024.
Herbert carded a six-under 64 in the final round at LIV Golf Hong to finish fourth with a cumulative score of 13-under.
Herbert entered the final day four shots back of the clubhouse lead, but the Australian surged into late contention with five birdies over the course of six holes. He cooled off with a bogey on the par-4 18th hole, but he rebounded with a birdie on the par-4 first to finish fourth for the second time in three LIV Golf tournaments. Herbert's putting game helped propel him to his strong finish, as he co-led the field in putts per hole (1.48) with Dean Burmester while finishing sixth in both driving distance (320.8 yards) and birdies made (16). Herbert is seventh in the LIV Golf individual season standings with 35 points heading into Singapore, where he finished T27 in 2024.
