Cole closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish nine-under and tied for 18th.
Cole gained a collective 3.59 strokes on approach and around the greens during Sunday's final round at Harbour Town, where he ultimately finished 11th among the field in SG: APP for the week. He improves five spots to No. 57 in the FedExCup standings, and he'll peg it again this week at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside teammate Sam Saunders.
Cole recorded a two-day total of one-under-par to miss the cut at this past week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches by four shots.
Cole's struggles off the tee continued at PGA National this past week, and he's now missed the cut in three consecutive starts dating back to the WM Phoenix Open while falling to 63rd in the FedExCup standings. He'll look to bounce back at the upcoming Arnold Palmer Invitational where he tied for 21st last year when he gained 4.8 strokes on and around Bay Hill Club's greens.
