Thompson fired a three-under 68 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish eight-under and tied for 27th.
Thompson gained 2.3 strokes putting on the way to six birdies during Sunday's final round at Harbour Town, where he finished the week ranked second among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T12 in scrambling. However, he lost strokes on approach for the first time since early February's WM Phoenix Open. Thompson is not in the field for the upcoming Zurich Classic of New Orleans.
