Thorbjornsen recorded a one-under 69 in the final round of The RSM Classic to finish tied for seventh place.
Thorbjornsen began Sunday's action tied for second and two shots back, but he struggled to get much going on a day when scores were very low with just two birdies and one bogey to fall down the leaderboard. He led the field in SG: Off-the-tee and scrambling for the tournament but lost strokes on approach and on the greens. It's Thorbjornsen's second straight top-10 at the event and fifth top-10 of the year.
Thorbjornsen closed with a two-under 69 on Sunday at the Bank of Utah Championship to finish nine-under and tied for 37th.
Thorbjornsen ranked seventh among the field in both driving distance and FIR percentage while gaining 2.9 strokes off the tee throughout his week at the Black Desert Resort, where he also converted 13 of 18 scrambling opportunities en route to a tournament-high 51 total pars. He resides 72nd in the FedExCup Fall standings after a T13-T29-3-T37 stretch since the Procore Championship.
