Michael Brennan Michael Brennan
RANK 38 | OWGR 2.28
Brennan carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship to finish four-under and tied for 18th.
Brennan ranked T40 or worse among the field in both GIR and FIR percentage during the final round at Port Royal, but he converted seven of nine scrambling opportunities Sunday to remain inside the top-20 on the leaderboard. The recent Bank of Utah Championship winner now travels to St. Simons Island for his RSM Classic debut.
Brennan closed with a two-under 70 on Sunday at the World Wide Technology Championship to finish 11-under and tied for 59th.
Brennan, who won late October's Bank of Utah Championship in his first PGA Tour start as a professional, racked up 24 total birdies across 72 holes in Mexico this past week. He's now slated to make his Butterfield Bermuda Championship debut this week at Port Royal.
Brennan closed with a five-under 66 to win the Bank of Utah Championship by four strokes on Sunday.
Brennan looked completely unfazed this week making just his third PGA Tour start on a sponsor exemption. He thought he would be playing on the Korn Ferry Tour next season after wrapping up full status from finishing No. 1 in the Fortinet Cup standings on the PGA Tour Americas. That will all change now with this win in Utah. Brennan will be fully exempt on the PGA Tour through 2027 and has earned a spot in THE PLAYERS Championship and PGA Championship next season. The 23-year-old is an extremely talented player, but his timeline just got significantly moved up with this breakthrough victory. There will surely be growing pains transitioning to the grind of being a full-time PGA Tour player, but Brennan will be one to watch going into 2026.
