Meissner (undisclosed) is out for the World Wide Technology Championship, according to Rob Bolton of PGATour.com.
The reasoning for Meissner's recent withdrawal has not been made clear, but he will not be able to step up after the Bank of Utah Championship. In his place is Kevin Streelman.
Meissner closed with a two-under 69 on Sunday at the Baycurrent Classic to finish seven-under and tied for 27th.
Meissner rebounded from a double bogey on the par-4 second hole during the final round by tallying four consecutive birdies on hole Nos. 4-7, and he ultimately gained 1.71 strokes with his irons Sunday. He finished the event ranked T3 among the field in GIR percentage, but just 71st in putts per GIR. Nonetheless, Meissner remains top-100 in the FedExCup Fall standings at 87th.
