Masaveu carded a three-under 68 final round at LIV Golf Singapore to finish tied for 14th.
Masaveu entered Sunday at two-under, but he managed to climb into the top-15 of the leaderboard to earn his first points of the LIV Golf season. He ranked in the top-20 in the field in driving accuracy, driving distance, birdies made, scrambling and GIR, with his putting game being his main blemish (1.67 putts per hole - T33). The LIV Golf league will return April 4 in Miami at Trump Doral.
Masaveu finished tied for 42nd at LIV Golf Hong Kong with a cumulative score of two-under.
Masaveu started out strong with a five-under 65 first round that included eagles on the par-5 third and 13th holes. He stumbled in the second round with a three-over 73, and though he was three-under through the front nine in the final round, he tumbled down the leaderboard after scoring four-over from holes three to six. The 22-year-old Spaniard has shown flashes of his potential through the first three LIV Golf tournaments of his career, and while he ranks T18 in the league in GIR (72.22 percent), he ranks T49 in putts per hole (1.68) and 51st in both scrambling (51.11 percent) and driving accuracy (51.59 percent). Masaveu will look for more consistency at LIV Golf Singapore this weekend.
