Crane has been disqualified from the Corales Puntacana Championship due to a rules violation, per the PGA Tour Communications X account.
Crane's violation came on the eighth hole during his third round in Punta Cana when he played the incorrect ball. The mistake wasn't realized until after he had begun the ninth hole, resulting in a disqualification from the event. Crane was at -4 heading into the third round.
