Snedeker has withdrawn from THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson, Rob Bolton of PGATour.com reports.
No official reason was given, but this likely stems from a back injury that has caused him some issues over the last month. Snedeker did play last week at the Zurich Classic where he finished 35th. Zac Blair will take his spot in the field at TPC Craig Ranch.
Snedeker (back) is no longer in the field for the Corales Championship, according to PGA Tour Communications.
It looked like Snedeker would have been good to go for the Corales Championship. Unfortunately for him, that is not the case, and in place of him for Corales will be Jimmy Walker.
Snedeker withdrew from the Valero Texas Open prior to his first round with a back injury, according to PGA TOUR Communications.
The extent of the injury is unknown, but it will prevent Snedeker from teeing it up this week as scheduled.
