Kirk closed with a three-under 68 on Sunday at the RBC Heritage to finish nine-under and tied for 18th.
Kirk converted all six of his scrambling opportunities en route to a bogey-free performance Sunday at Harbour Town, where he ultimately ranked T5 among the field in GIR percentage throughout the Signature Event. The T18 result marks his first top-20 effort of the season, though he's still outside of the top-100 in the FedExCup standings.
Kirk recorded a 36-hole score of two-over-par to miss the cut at last week's Valero Texas Open by four shots.
Kirk lost 2.7 strokes putting throughout his two rounds at TPC San Antonio, ultimately resulting in his first missed cut since early February's WM Phoenix Open. He'll tee it up next at the Masters where he placed top-25 each of the past two years.
Kirk carded a one-over 72 on Sunday at the Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches to finish six-under and tied for 56th.
Kirk gained a season-high 3.5 strokes on approach at PGA National this past week, but he also lost a collective 3.3 strokes on and around the greens while converting only 11 of 22 scrambling opportunities. Kirk hasn't gained strokes with the flat stick since last August's BMW Championship. Nonetheless, he'll tee it up again this week at the Arnold Palmer Invitational where he's placed top-15 in five of his last eight appearances.
