Woodland (undisclosed) is listed in the field for THE CJ CUP Byron Nelson this week.
Woodland withdrew prior to last week's Zurich Classic of New Orleans after placing just 61st at the RBC Heritage, but he'll return this week at TPC Craig Ranch for his first Byron Nelson appearance since 2017.
Woodland carded an even-par 72 in the final round of the Valero Texas Open to finish tied for 40th place.
Woodland had an inconsistent final round which included an eagle, two birdies and four bogeys under difficult scoring conditions to climb 23 spots on the leaderboard. He was led by his driving play, as he ranked T5 in driving accuracy and led the field in SG: Off-the-tee for the week. Woodland currently sits 48th in the FedExCup Standings.
Woodland closed with a final round eight-under 62 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, finishing one shot behind champion Min Woo Lee.
Although Woodland began the round six shots off the lead, he stormed up the leaderboard with an eagle and seven birdies (to go along with one bogey). The round was highlighted by playing the final four holes in four-under, but he ultimately came up one short of a playoff. The veteran caught fire on the greens this week, where he led the field in SG: Putting. It was a much needed result for Woodland, who hadn't posted a top-5 in over three years.
