RANK 83 | OWGR 1.46
Cauley fired a seven-under 64 in the final round of the RBC Heritage to finish in a share of 32nd place.
Cauley had an uneventful first three rounds but came to life Sunday with eight birdies (to go along with one bogey) en route to the low round of the day to climb 32 spots on the leaderboard. His four bogeys for the tournament ranked tied for first, and he ranked T12 in scrambling. Cauley sits 36th in the FedExCup Standings.
Cauley posted a two-under 70 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish in a share of fifth place.
Cauley was never in contention but that didn't stop him from climbing over 20 spots on the leaderboard in the final round after posting five birdies on a day when scores were high. He was led by his ball striking as he ranked in the top-10 for the week in SG: Approach, driving distance and GIR. Cauley has been in excellent form as of late with three consecutive top-10 finishes.
Cauley posted a two-over 74 on Sunday at The PLAYERS Championship to finish in a share of sixth place.
Cauley was a late addition to the field and the local resident made the most of his opportunity as he was just one back heading into the final round where he stumbled with three birdies and five bogeys to finish T6. His 22 birdies ranked second for the tournament, and he was fifth in SG: Putting. Cauley has made 4-of-5 cuts in 2025 with a pair of top-25s.
Cauley is in the field for The Players Championship, according to PGA Tour Communications.
Cauley is replacing Lee Hodges (ribs), who is still dealing with an injury that will have kept him out of multiple PGA tournaments. The last time Cauley was a last-minute replacement was the WM Phoenix Open, where he finished 21st with a score of 10 under par.
