Cantlay recorded an even-par 71 in the final round of the RBC Heritage to finish tied for 13th place.
Following three rounds in the 60s heading into the final round, Cantlay had an inconsistent day with four birdies, two bogeys and a double bogey to fall out of the top-10. He was led by his driving play, as he led the field for the week in SG: Off-the-tee. Cantlay currently sits 26th in the FedExCup Standings and has failed to post a top-10 in his last five starts.
Cantlay fell into a tie for 33rd place after shooting a five-over 77 in the final round of the Valero Texas Open.
Cantlay was in position for a potential top-10 showing this week, but really struggled coming home with bogeys on 11, 12 and 15 before a triple-bogey on the par-5 18th. Cantlay slipped 23 spots from where he started the final round. He had a strong week with the irons at third in SG: Approach and T7 in GIR's, but was outside the top-50 in both SG: Around-the-Green and SG: Putting, normally two pretty good areas for him. Cantlay will look to shake it off heading to The Masters next week where he has only finished top-10 once in eight career starts.
Cantlay fired a three-under 69 on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish one-over and tied for 31st.
Cantlay paced the entire field in SG: Around-the-Green during Sunday's final round as he converted eight of 10 scrambling opportunities to go along with a pair of par-5 eagles, but he ultimately finished his week at Bay Hill ranked just 46th among the field in SG: Off-the-Tee and T36 in GIR percentage. Nonetheless, he's now gained at least 3.3 strokes on approach in three consecutive starts. He'll tee it up again this week at THE PLAYERS Championship where he's yet to place better than T19 through seven career appearances.
