Finau closed with a four-over 76 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish five-over and tied for 56th.
Finau struggled to a pair of 76s during his weekend at TPC San Antonio, where he ultimately lost 3.6 strokes putting while converting only 14 of 31 total scrambling opportunities. He's now placed 32nd or worse in four consecutive starts dating back to the Arnold Palmer Invitational, sliding to 41st in the FedExCup standings.
Finau carded an eight-over 80 on Sunday at the Arnold Palmer Invitational to finish three-over and tied for 36th.
Finau couldn't avoid the big numbers throughout his back nine at Bay Hill on Sunday, tripling the par-5 12th hole before adding a double on the par-3 17th, ultimately losing 5.6 strokes around the green throughout the final round alone. However, he ended the event ranked T6 among the field in GIR percentage and 15th in SG: Off-the-Tee. Finau will peg it again this week at THE PLAYERS Championship where he's yet to place better than T19 through eight prior TPC Sawgrass appearances.
