Campos closed with a two-over 74 on Sunday at the Valero Texas Open to finish three-over and tied for 47th.
Campos' final round at TPC San Antonio was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 14th, where he holed a 55-foot pitch from the rough. However, he ultimately ranked just 60th of 66 in SG: Approach, losing over three strokes with his irons throughout the week. Campos now turns his attention to Augusta National for his Masters Tournament debut at 36 years old.
Campos recorded a two-day total of one-under-par to miss the cut at this past week's Cognizant Classic in The Palm Beaches by four shots.
Campos gained a collective 3.14 strokes on and around the greens throughout his 36 holes at PGA National, but his ball striking continues to let him down. He's yet to gain strokes on approach through his first seven starts of the 2025 season, dropping to 151st in the FedExCup standings with five missed cuts. However, Campos received a sponsor exemption for the upcoming Arnold Palmer Invitational where he'll be making his Bay Hill Club debut.
